About

about unbound somatic wellness space

In sessions, workshops and retreats at Unbound you’ll explore the places where tensions, traumas and protective patterns are held, understand why they exist and gently process what has kept you from fully thriving in your health, your thoughts, your relationships and your life.

Here you’ll learn how to:

  • Remind your nervous system how to access its calm and regulated state

  • Release stuck patterns that no longer serve you

  • Ground into your authentic self with deeper embodiment

  • Open new possibilities for responding to life with clarity and resilience

  • Find peace and connection within yourself and the world around you

When you can truly experience yourself from this grounded place you gain the resilience, trust, and freedom to examine your thoughts, reactions and habits, and can discover new ways of being in the present moment.

  • Attuning to your core self opens you up to healing, a deep sense of peace and oneness.

about Katie

Katie has been researching and practicing somatic therapies for decades, and Unbound Somatic Wellness Space is the culmination of those experiences. What began as a personal search for healing from chronic fatigue syndrome, chemical sensitivities, and other autoimmune and trauma-related challenges has evolved into a deep expertise in uncovering and releasing the bound patterns in the body that block vibrant, authentic living.

Through this work, Katie has found that clearing these bound patterns leads to improved health, clarity, confidence, and a greater sense of safety in the world. She especially enjoys working with highly sensitive people and with anyone seeking to uncover the root causes of life’s challenges.

Katie has devoted years to learning, practicing, and teaching the modalities that most supported her own healing and awakening. She brings this knowledge to her clients with a playful, openhearted, and safe presence—creating an environment where clients can feel deeply supported as they do their inner work.

As an artist, Katie infuses creativity into every session. She draws from her wide range of practices—guided meditations, somatic movement, and personalized mini-practices—adapting in the moment to meet the unique needs of each person. Her intention is always to bring relief, healing, and the unexpected freedom that arises when the body and mind are gently attuned and unbound.

Outside of her practice, Katie is an artist who loves music, hiking, and exploring the beauty and culture of Santa Fe. She treasures time in nature with her Labradoodle, Nucky.

Katie believes every person holds the potential to express themselves fully and to live with authenticity, vitality, and ease. She believes her role is to help clients gently dissolve what blocks that expression so they can reconnect with their wholeness and true potential.
